Privacy policy
Short version: we use what you send us to answer your enquiry and quote for your driveway. Nothing else, and we do not sell it to anybody.

Who we are
This website is operated by Block Paving Driveways Twickenham (“we”, “us”), a block paving contractor working in Twickenham and the surrounding parts of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact us through the enquiry form.
What we collect
Only what you type into our enquiry form, which is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your telephone number, if you choose to give it
- Your postcode, if you choose to give it
- What you need help with, and anything you tell us about your driveway
We do not ask for anything else, and we do not collect payment details through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit if you want one, and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not chase you after a quote unless you have asked us to.
How the form works
Our enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service. When you submit the form, the information you entered is transmitted through Web3Forms’ systems and emailed to us. Web3Forms processes that submission on our behalf. You can read their own privacy information on their website.
The form also contains a hidden field intended to catch automated submissions. It is not visible to you and it collects nothing about you.
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than us and the service providers who make our email and form processing work. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, so that we have context if you come back to us. Where we carry out work, we keep the relevant records for six years, which is the period during which a claim relating to the work could be brought and the period our accounting obligations require.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Web fonts are served from this website itself rather than from a third-party font service, so no request about you is made to another company when a page loads.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it
- Ask us to restrict how we use it
- Object to our use of it
- Ask for a copy in a portable format
Contact us through the enquiry form and we will deal with it. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
